The record has spun
The song is done
I sit here watching
the setting sun

The spiraled twist
Thoughts reminisced
A sinking feeling
That still persists

The lost have won
The time has come
all that's been made
has been undone

Into the black
No turning back
To stand and face
the full attack

So the arrow flies
towards fate's demise
for those who dare
and those who die

With fate up turned
the future spurned
the teachers, teaching
they who've learned

Yet, the lesson's lost
And, at what cost
How many options
Must we exhaust

Forced to admit
It's best just to quit
No longer turning
Upon hell's spit

To try and try
Not free to fly
So many things
Gone so awry
