Has Anyone Had An Out-Of-Body Experience? [Spirituality & Religion]

I've been wanting to have one for a long time, but have not yet been able to achieve it. Any suggestions?

Yes, about 10 yrs ago..I was propped up reading in bed, when suddenly I was on the ceiling seeing myself reading. My 1st thought was: OMG, I have died. To this day I've no explanation why this happened..I don't do drugs and my mind was clear.

Others have reported the same kind of thing to me. Some people say they have them all the time. I've read and watched lots of instructional materials, but still can't do it.

@Justsayit: Probably because it was so out of the ordinary and unexpected. Maybe if you knew it were coming, and knew it were perfectly safe, it wouldn't have been scary.

I concentrated in a dark room and removed all outside thoughts, I felt my spirit slipping out of my body and it freaked me out and I stopped it from happening. I was trying to astral travel actually lol.
