Should religion be against the law? [Spirituality & Religion]

BlueVeins · 22-25
No, because there's no excellent definition of religion, and religions often get stronger in times of persecution.

I wish I had a dollar for every time I see this question.

I need the money

No just not tax exempt
no. but freedom of religion is no justification for violating the US constitution. i would have a problem with any religion that did such a thing.

No it should be something that people can freely choose to accept or reject without being persecuted one way or the other for their choices. However if aspects of the religion result in practices that are against the law then the laws should supersede those of the religion. So getting married to minors would be one example.

Nope (even if I'd like that), but there must be some law to cut down the influence of religion on political and money stuff. Ur a church? Ok you should give 90%+ of your earnings to actual charity or you'll be suspended and pay taxes like any other business.

Yes, yes, yes.

God established the Law.
If man created the law it would be so much more worse.

In all honesty, I have mixed feelings about whether religion should be banned, or not.

I once toyed with the idea of making religion illegal to practice, or even subscribe to, but after reading about things like the Spanish Inquisition and the German Holocaust, I'm not so sure...

Sometimes, I wonder what the whole world would be like WITHOUT religion, because I vaguely remember, having heard in a song, something about imagining a world without religion, or heaven, or hell, or anything like that.
Sadly no. I believe in freedom of choice. Extremism though can lead to crime that can be jailed for.

What kind of a question is that?
SW-User
@Carazaa A legal question that anyone in a free society is allowed to ask
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
According to God, yeah.
