Hey, what are your thoughts on persons who believe in chakras, flow of good and bad energy and who try to banish it out of their lives? [Spirituality & Religion]

Jesus warns against that.

In and of their own power, that is not possible. They are trusting the wrong thing. They need to trust in God. He has the answer for everything we need.

Neither new age belief nor occultism.

It is said, if your body is in full control of yours, your 15-20% of life will be in your control.
If your mind is in your full control, your 50-60% of life will be in your control.
And if your energy system is in your control, you have 100% control of your life.

They are smart people. Makes a lot of sense, since the human body IS energy.
It is not new age tenets. This is written in Sanscrit.

Is actually a millenia old belief originating in Eastern cultures.

I believe that is more an eastern belief. Not anything to do with cults.
