If you read any of my stories you will know why I believe in God. It is way too big a subject to give a good answer as a reply to a question,but if you really want to know ,why I believe,it is in my true accounts of horrific childhood abuse.

I simply do not but I respect other's rights to do so.

I consider myself to be very spiritual. I believe there is more to live than organic existence. I believe there is a shared experience that we all have to generations past and a moral obligation that we have to one another during our lives.

I do not believe in a deity.

I believe in God because I've experienced His love and joy and peace
@TheWildEcho

I don't believe in god (among other reasons) because try as i might, i've never experienced a damn thing.

Seems unfair.
TheWildEcho · 56-60, M
@Pikachu I am not surprised you are not experiencing God, you keep putting barriers up between you and Him. Every anti God post you put on here trying to convince yourself and others that He does not exist is another barrier.
Discovering God and following Him takes time and effort just like any relationship and the rewards are well worth the effort
Are you prepared to put in the effort?
@TheWildEcho

I don't make anti god posts, i make anti-creationism posts and ask questions about the bible.

And even if that is how you perceive my posts, don't presume that you know me.

There was a time in my life where i was ready and willing to believe in god. There was a time when i actively sought him out, prayed, read the bible, begged for him to enter my life.

And nothing.

Which is why i say that i don't believe in god. There's certainly no external evidence which convinces me that he exists and the much vaunted personal revelation/experience of god has eluded me.
