Not a question. I want to share a prayer, and the response I received. [Spirituality & Religion]
It was about two weeks ago. I was lying in bed, thinking about my deceased rescue cat, Oscar, whose ashes are in a little cedar box on top of my dining room hutch, with his name on a little brass plaque on the box. He was so ill, and he was such a sweet, beautiful cat.
I thanked God for taking care of my deceased cat and for all of my deceased loved ones. And I said (mentally), to God, "I am so glad You have them." (Meaning, "I am so glad You are taking care of them.")
And I was actually a bit stunned when I received a response. It was non-verbal, of course, and I heard it only in my mind, but it seemed to originate in my heart, where I believe God (or the Holy Spirit) lives.
God, (or the Holy Spirit) replied, "I don't have them. They have Me."
Think about what that means.
