God is taking care of you, even when you feel all alone. [Spirituality & Religion]

If you’re a child of God, you can trust that He’s working diligently for you, behind the scenes. He’s not forgotten you. It takes time to move hearts or circumstances on your behalf. It’s God’s timing that counts, to work patience in you. He may seem quiet, but that means He’s up to moving people, hearts, or circumstances. He’s heard your prayer. Now you just need to rest and let him do His work. Unless it’s a job you want. Then you must put legs on your prayers, and exercise your faith. He most definitely has not forgotten you. But if you start worrying, you’re just telling God you don’t believe Him, and think He needs your help. Trust is the key that unlocks the door and unties God’s hands to help you. Worry is sin, because ir breeds doubt, and God doesn’t work that way.

These are beautifull words and so true, for the most part...

"But if you start worrying, you’re just telling God you don’t believe Him, and think He needs your help. Trust is the key that unlocks the door and unties God’s hands to help you. Worry is sin, because ir breeds doubt, and God doesn’t work that way."

Many people are incapable of escaping worry for many reasons but foremost, mental illness. Then there are those, through no fault of their own, have deep financial problems and face the horrors of forclosure, eviction, homelesness, unemployment, medical and health care needs. It's easy to tell people to not worry and to have faith, but these are realities that inescapable.

I trust God, but worry is a mechanism of the human condition which was put upon us by God to nudge us into taking responsibilty and action for ourselves and that includes reaching out for help when needed.

At least that is how I see things, LadyGrace
@DonHobag You make good points and thank you. It would seem so, but let’s take another look. Worry is described in God’s Word as sin, because that means we’re not trusting God, so worry is not put on us to urge us to trust. It comes from Satan. He wants us to doubt God. God wouldn't put something on us that He calls sin.

It is far from easy to stop worrying, but God’s Word tells us how to do it. It takes conscious training and awareness. It can be done. But there’s nothing wrong with reaching out to others for help, either. God puts friends, family, and neighbors in our path as helpers, as well, and Im so glad you brought that out. He expects us to use common sense. There are things that people do to hinder their own progress, as well. That’s the way we learn from our mistakes. Thanks for great input on this subject. 👍 Especially about people who have special needs. I agree. God most certainly has not left them out. He takes loving care of them, as well. They are so special in His heart. God bless them all.

Thanks. It is always good to be reminded of this.

I have a small sign inside my secretary desk:
IF YOU'VE PRAYED ABOUT IT, GOD IS WORKING ON IT.
I love that!@greenmountaingal
