I Am Wanting to Move Out

I hate living with other people. My sister and her teenage son have moved back home. It's so annoying. If you finish a role of toilet paper/ paper towels; REPLACE IT. Don't just leave it there. If you finish a jug of milk, throw it away, don't just leave it in the fridge. You ate the last oatmeal, or used the last ziplock? Throw the dang box away!😤

Oh awesome!! Good. My fiance and I r living with family and were doing all the cleaning, laundry, buying tolite paper laundry soap, letting dogs out feeding them, nobody throw's anything away, drinks all the milk leave's the cartons on the counter. Makes dinners every night even when we don't want to.

@SweetSeptember I hated when I'd cook and nobody would wash dishes. And I am the one who went to the store, bought all the food, loaded them in the car, then into the house and cooked. LEAST you can do is wash the dang dishes

@iamnikki Seems like they don’t appreciate having a roof over their head and food to eat. Maybe you should spell it out to them.

@cherokeepatti They moved 2 days ago. I am so glad. Mom said the same thing. Don't appreciate. Lived here for 10 months. She probably gave me $60 for groceries during that span.

@iamnikki You have to spell it out from the beginning when people move into your place...itemize each thing from chores to food to general household rules. If you don’t they will take advantage and act like it’s OK. You pay the bills and work, don’t let anyone abuse you that way. It’s like you have a second job when you come home from your work.

@cherokeepatti This is my parents house. I told her the same thing. Why didn't you make them do things. Mom: I didn't think they'd be here that long". She claims she wont step in and offer them to move back in next time and to help with rent and bills when she is short on it. I doubt that's true

They’ll stay even longer if you let them to do as they please. They probably made her feel like it would be temporary and they got comfortable so why should they go find another place to live when they have everything given to them and servants to clean up after them? $60 is a pittance for groceries these days, and that doesn’t even include extra costs for utilities etc. due to them being there.

@cherokeepatti yea, they moved saturday. then they (dad and sister) are letting my nephew continue to live here, in order to finish out the school year at the school he's been at
