I Love to Work Out

I have had the worst luck with gyms. 3 of the gyms I have belonged to have gone under. I am currently at a smaller gym and they have cut classes like crazy. I felt the weight creeping up and had to do something.

There is an extreme boot camp class. Almost elite. The same core group of women work out. I have never been able to join the class because it starts at 4:45 and I work until 5:00.

This Friday, I came into the class. One of the women looked at me and asked "Are you sure you want to do this class? It is his toughest". I was a little offended to say the least.

Of course, I replied. I will do what I can. Well, I made it through the class with the rest of them. She came up to me afterwards and said I had done a good job.

The instructor said I can come in late..I am feeling the weight shifting and I am sore as h***

The snobby lady probably didn't mean anything by it. In those types of settings it's so easy for people to misspeak and misinterpret.

When I feel not so confident I usually find a place towards the back, so not to set a bad example.

Fear can be useful sometimes. But shame is generally worthless. :)

Yeah for cardio!

I know this lady and her intent was to let me know this was beyond me or soshe thought. she did come up and tell me I did good. I also stood in the back of the class so if i stopped it was not disruptive...but thankyou!
