Am wondering how many domesticated pet rocks were released into the wild after the 1970s?

After domestication, they might not be tough enough to survive on their own. I seriously doubt that sedimentary ones EVER could, and some igneous can definitely fracture. I guess metamorphic ones might be ok...just maybe...but the look in their stone-y faces as you try to leave them...just too hard...
