I Need Someone Who Can Relate to Me
Just had my first adventure in RELATIONSHIPS, and after a while I'm finally realising exactly what that means to me. Ultimately it's not enough for the girl to be pretty and kind, because there's plenty of pretty and kind girls that I have almost zero interest in.
I think everyone needs someone in particular, and who I need is someone that can relate to me, someone that's on the same wavelength as me, who cares deeply about the same things I care about. "Opposites attract" doesn't cut it, we have to see eye to eye, and if we do, I know we'll both be better for it.
We'd be a powerteam if nothing else. Alone maybe we're unsure of ourselves, but together, supporting each other, we'd have the confidence to take on any challenge. Just having that kind of support is a dream all its own, and it's probably what I'm looking for most of all. The support of someone that understands me, whose existance is all I need to know that I'm not alone and that there are others out there that love the same things I do, others that see the world the way I do.
If there is someone out there like that, I know that they're looking for someone like me, and I just want you to know that I'm looking for you too.
