Practice your presentation till you know it without prompt, it'll come across a whole lot better. Throw in a couple of jokes but don't expect people to laugh, if they do they are onside and they won't care what you say after that.
It can't go any worse than a 5 min presentation I did, we had it in a small room out of the way (it just so happens that the guys who had used it beforehand had left some kit in there). After I started the presentation which was going well, I was interrupted 3 times in 5 mins by people knocking at the door and then I got marked down because 'it didn't come across very well'. FFS.

@sorrow. I will be dealing with that starting this summer. If you find a way to over come that. Let me know. I feel your pain.
