I Have Controlling Parents

I love my parents with my life, but I really can’t stand being with them in the same room for more than 5 minutes.

The greatest gifts a parent can give to an adult child are giving up control and providing emotional support (so long as the child isn’t a serial killer, drug dealer etc).

Sorry you’re not getting this; but it will be a great lesson with your own children.
