Why LGBTQ isn't a part of the School Curriculum

What's sex got to do with reading writing and arithmetic?

See what happens when you allow institutes of learning to be infiltrated and infested with liberals... 🙄
That's your parents and peers job..

@theoneyouwerewarnedabout: Yes, that accurate, complete, wise peer sex education. Wow, why haven't we thought of that before?

Because the purpose of school is not to indoctrinate in values. Values must be taught by parents

@Cierzo: Define "indoctrination."

If it's part of a sexual education and wellbeing course, then absolutely. Look, kids are going to learn about sex. Parents are notoriously bad at teaching it, and in the absence of a qualified instructor, a substitute will be found. most likely, that's the internet, which is full of great sex and also full of objectification, violence, pathology and demeaning and dangerous behavior.

Young people are human. Humans are sexual creatures. You talk about cuisines and hobbies openly, so why not sex? We need to do better that Part A inserts into Slot B. We need to teach the full sphere if sexuality, emotion and psychological health surrounding a person's body and its expression of desire.

@DevilsAdvocate: I agree but again it doesn't need to happen at school
SW-User
@Niburu: Where, then? From parents? How many do that?

Because it's common sense

@ladycae: that's about as accurate as my estimate

actually is a statistic from a poll i read awhile ago. it really surprised me.

not really. even though LGBTQ is alright, I don't agree with spreading fake news. it's only less than 10% and recently in UK they did a survey and found less than 2% belong to LGBTQ group.

Because who you want to have sex with isn't really very important or interesting.

You guys haven't given them a reason to do it?
Many parents still think it's a "choice" and since it has nothing to do with the mechanics of reproduction, they object.
