Trumpets: Do you believe the things trump says? And why won't you come out and say so?
I've seen a few posts asking a variation on this theme and so far, the most rabid trump supporters among you (you know who you are) make no comment. In virtually every other thread you'll jump in and bend over backwards to defend trump. But here you're deafeningly silent. Seems like an answer in and of itself...
I had a really long and surprising conversation with a younger brother last night. We've taken different paths in life. He's a construction foreman and lives in a very small town. He's not an idiot but I was a little blown away hearing about his reasoning for supporting Trump.
My take, particularly after that conversation, is that most of them don't care. They've been systematically told that their enemies are immigrants, those on welfare, environmentalists and governmental regulations. They just like hearing that someone is going to "clean" all that up. They don't think beyond that.
I explained who the REAL enemies are, and the role of scapegoats, but while he heard it he didn't really hear it. Once you get people locked on to a target not much else matters to them.
Trump has done more good for this country before he took office, than Obama did in eight years 'in' office. He has my support. Every president has gaffs and quirks that are exploited by those who oppose him. The problem Trump has is that the globalists have been stacking the deck for over 50 years. Academia belongs to the left. Most media belongs to the left. Intelligence agencies, and many government offices belong to the left, google pretty much belongs to the left. It's basically 'the salt of the earth' against pretty much the same bunch that was spitting on soldiers coming back from Vietnam. The 'burn baby burn' crowd is in the wheelhouse. People who misbehave over a long period of time eventually alienate themselves, though, so your time is coming. Miscreants always get their comeuppance in the end.
I believe some, I don't believe others Maybe if you liberals left your air or moral superiority Trump supporters (not trumpets, see what I mean) would speak more candidly.
Oh trust me. There's a difference between a trump supporter and a trumpet. Don't get too upset here.
So what parts do you believe and given the numerous documented occasions when trump has been a victim of his own ignorance or deliberately disingenuous, how do you trust the other things he says?
It's going to be a LONG four years,he says ,oh,"crooked hillary" or the "corrupt media" and it's like some hypnotic spell hit them! I say four years because he's got great health care!
