Can you name me one policy of Trumps that persecutes women?

To my eyes women are marching around the world against the mans views not his policies. So are they protesting against free speech? Last time I checked America is a free country so what exactly are these women protesting against?

None of these protests make any sense. I think they know nothing about his policies, honestly.

@adhane05: He had to make so many statements after his original response.
Don't you remember when it happened? He tried to play "Hardball" with the host Chris Matthews? He doesn't do well wif intelligent interrogators. He was asked "should the women of abortions be punished?" He responded yes. Trump really isn't good for off the cuff questioning; it quickly shows his limitations.

@adhane05: "none of these protests make any sense...don't know Trump's policies" ...

They may not make sense to you but those protests made sense to LOT of people! Soft breezes to you.

@Windsylph: Right... Have you listened to these protestors? They have been fed so many lies by the mainstream media. Many of them are heavily misinformed. The entire establishment hates Trump with such great passion and they still continue to make up false stories. This all backfired on the Democrats and that is a big part on how he got elected.

The crazy part about this entire Women's March protest is they were actually being led by a pro-Marshal law supporter, Linda Sarsour. These poor women actually think they are marching for their rights.

2-2.5 million people turned up for the March all across US. Besides that people in London, Barcelona, Auckland, Brisbane, Paris etc. They gathered peacefully to protest the demeaning, disrespectful, divisive, racist behaviour of a person who took office as the most powerful man in the world now. His cabinet appointees are much the same. So just as Trump has his free speech, others have the equal freedom to express themselves. That's what they did. If the man's thinking reflects on his policy then many more people will gather.

@questionWeaver: lol it means nothing? It means an overwhelming majority rejected Trump. And it's entirely upto Trump and his swamp to turn down the rhetoric and do some work instead of telling blatant lies about everything.
@BigAsset:

Overwhelming ... with what legal means do they use to do this? ... to overwhelm with?

Lets review ...

(1) Get their congressman to pass legislation? ... nope, they lost the house

(2) Get their Senator to offer legislation? ... nope, they lost the senate

(3) Get their Governor to do something? ... lost 31 states .. counting state legislature losses 35 ... factoring in County government losses ... 43 were lost

(4) Appeal to the supreme courts? ... lost that too.

Even California has lost power.

The overwhelming majority is actually the Trump supporters ... they won the largest transfer of political power since 1922.

Trump and Trump supporters won majority control of ALL political categories in the US ... from local councilman, assemblyman, state representative, governor, representative, senator, presidency ... and in a few days ... the supreme court.

Like it or not ... elections mathematically determine who the people want to have in control.

The US populace have now selected GOP candidates OVERWHELMINGLY!

If somebody did not vote ... shame on them!

@questionWeaver: and, if they do not take advantage of the majorities they now have, the pendulum will swing the other way.

Someone probably whispered in their ear that trump wanted to overturn Roe v Wade. Nothing gets their panties in a wad like that one.

When hundreds of thousands of people are marching, it seems quite funny that you can judge them for exercising free speech by saying they are against free speech. Your mind works very strangely indeed.

Let's see, during the campaign, candidate Trump said women who get abortions should be punished and go to jail. He said he likes to grab women by the pussy. He called women cows and dogs if they don't measure up to his idea of beauty. He said he wants to repeal Obamacare, defund Planned Parenthood, and suggested it is OK if women are not compensated the same as men.

Now I suppose you can say he is allowed to say all that because it is protected free speech, and so it is. But I can understand why women and people who care about women might be angered by any of these statements by the man who is now President, let alone all of the them together.

A man's views is equal to his policies. Certainly in this case, it is. His policies reflect a personal view--a disregard for women as equal to men.

@KnightMoves: your finding it hard to understand simple points. I'm not changing the subject to point out people's overracrion to a policy while they igonore children been bombed. Very clear link there. Secondly you haven't mentioned a signal policy I haven't heard about, so if I'm ignorant what does that make yoU? Your very emotional that's for sure. Your using your heart not your mind when answering my questions. Put your hormones down and think clearly.

#Knightmoves: What candidate Trump actually said was if it were illegal yes, women who had an abortion should be punished according to the law. That's not the same thing as saying women who have them should be punished. My newspaper reported it inaccurately as well but fortunately I actually heard him speak.
katielass · F
@KnightMoves: They were disinvited Wednesday by the organizers of the march. The leader of the pro-life feminist group that was disinvited was all over the TV. Oh and the leader of the pro-choice group was invited to be on Tv but declined.

IstillmissEP: Abortion, that I will accept but even that I have a problem with. I haven't heard one protester bring that up or one sign with that on it. So you got to wonder
if you did not march today, how can you speak for those who were there? There were many pro-life people marching and many issues were motivating people to attend.
katielass · F
@JimboUk: Maybe the cameras just didn't capture those signs. But the group who did march disinvited the pro-life feminist group who had previously been invited to march with them.

They are throwing a temper tantrum.
I have yet to be told what this was about ... even abortion is a reach ... we just had an election ... we know that 36 million women in 83 cities preferred Hillary ... where is the news here?

Why call hundreds of thousands of people names and judge them for caring about their future? I don't get why you or me or anyone should claim to know what motivates someone else to do what they believe is in their best interest.

In the off-chance that you are really God and just posing as an SW member, forgive me, Oh Lord. Feel free to judge us all.

You could start with his sexual harrassment as an entree. You want more?
JimboUk · 31-35, M
Pfuzylogic: he's a president and I asked for a policy, that isn't a policy.
Goralski · 51-55, M
And Clinton raping women didn't utter a sound
Pfuzylogic · M
@Goralski: No fiction please. They just dropped an investigation with Trump.
I think it's enough that he's a douchebag, the policies coming policies are icing on the cake...
