Would we get more out of Congress if we split the seats between Greens, Dems and the GOP?

With competition would there be more of an attempt to serve the voters?
Audit the lot. Then throw their ass in gitmo.. anyone NOT on the take. Is obviously prepared to turn a blind eye to it, so they can keep their spot on the tax payer gravy train.

And the Libertarians, and any other party. the two party system is a scam. People like Paul Ryan, Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell would rather be burned at the stake than have their two party system challenged.
@SheCallsMeCrushDaddy right.
A good step would be to primary the turtle, graham, and Cheney out of existence..
If the dems had a shred of decently they’d do the same for shmucky , Nancy and Eric fang fang bang bang fartwell. As a sign of good faith.. 😁👍
I doubt it. Regardless of affiliation they’re all cut from the same cloth! Out for themselves.
Sort of like Congresswoman Alexandria Ocascio Cortez... reportedly driving a $71, 000 car and living in nice digs, not something you find common in her constituents’ districts, viz: The Bronx and Queens.

@soar2newhighs She’s driving a $35k electric car, literally slightly under the average price of new cars sold in the US. And when she drove a regular car people whined too.

And omg, a congressperson making a regular middle class wage, and living in regular middle class accommodations. Stop the presses 🙄
@QuixoticSoul I just passed on what was reported. Didn’t hear any figure you mentioned or that it’s an electric car. But then I re iterate, not too many even electric cars in her districts she represents. The living environment in the “boroughs” is different than the beltway.

@soar2newhighs It’s a model 3. And I repeat - omg, person with a middle class salary is living a middle class lifestyle, amazing. There are plenty of poorer districts out there, many of them rural - but somehow you don’t come after their representatives for driving normal person cars.

I believe if there was more competitive parties it would be quite helpful as they would actually be forced to work together, instead of this all or nothing bullcrap we got going on right now...

Where I feel like both parties are working together, to keep the two party system in full force and both parties are trying to stop politicians from being individuals, and simply get in line with the rest of the party.

This is also hurtful because it means that any politician that is willing to ignore the parties (such as Democrat Ilhan Omar and Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene) automatically stand out and get praised for being different dispute both arguably saying some absolutely ridiculous things. The parties sometimes let them hang out to dry.

But they get a ton of money, since they're different and unique and not simply following the party line.

Though I feel like if everyone was able to be more individuals, then the ridiculous individual wouldn't be getting so much praise, and would actually get punished for their ridiculous instead of rewarded.

Term limits...
Green Party in auz we call ‘the watermelons’
Green on the outside, red in the middle. Not one of their policies are green. It’s full socialism

Ranked voting system would let in 3rd party candidates..
Someone just wrote about separating Republicans from Insurrectionists as well, although I don't think there are really enough non-Trumpist Republicans left to make a difference.
ScottR · 56-60, M
The Green Party usually gets about 0.20 percent of the vote for house and senate races. I doubt they would get many seats under proportional representation.
Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
@ScottR because we backed the Dems. Because voting Green can't be allowed. Why not fix that?
Again, reported -her annual salary is $174k. That is not middle class wage.
