How long should the Congress wait before requiring US businesses to actually reduce and eliminate their carbon footprint

Isn't it time, yet? What's the current reason conservatives need us to stall, now?
The US has done more and spent more than any other country on Earth toward reducing carbon. Why is it entirely up to us, while the top three polluters in the world get a free pass? Are we supposed to be the only zero carbon emissions country on the planet?

It's about time to start demanding more action from other nations.

@SW-User that is a lie-. China just passed the US in emissions. Your history is too huge to pass all at once. But war with China, right? Conservatives can say China lies any time, so we get war?
@Stopmakingsense it would be, if that were true. Sadly, it is not even close to ball park. It's a blatant lie... period.

This is part of the propaganda i frequently mention that people don't bother to look into or challenge.

@Stopmakingsense incorrect
China nor India have any emissions regulations and out populate the US by over 10 times.
Well the energy companies have known about this since the late 70s and chose to not only ignore it but bury the evidence.

So as far as I am concerned they can sleep in the bed they made.

the problem is, the senate requires 60 votes for it to happen...

The Republicans' bosses won't be as profitable.
