Consensus is that Mike Pence won Last Night's Vice Presidential Debate

A studio town hall, when polled, agreed that Harris made faces, laughed inappropriately, and refused to answer questions, even when pressed, such as, "Do you plan to pack the Supreme Court if elected?"

He was very poised and showed his resolve along with leadership. She was a disgrace to women and Americans. Shitty attitude and snotty looks don’t make you a leader go back to the bench and let the real players continue.

What we got out of the debate last night was ....

(1) ... Biden and Harris want to undo the last tax cut but won't rise taxes on working Americans. Talk about political double-talk??? That's like someone saying they plan to raise everyone's taxes but won't raise taxes on working Americans. They can't do both. This sounds too much like the Obamacare sales pitch about keeping your doctors and reducing the cost of health care.

(2) ... Biden and Harris plan to apologize to Iran and China .. and what??? Give the US economy to China? Help Iran build a nuclear bomb? Give them another $150 Billion to help that along?

(3) ... Apologize to our NATO friends for insisting that they pay their fair share, and what???? Let the US again pick up the bulk of the cost of NATO? Where will the US get the money for that after a Biden/Harris agrees to Pelosi's covid-19 stimulus bill? And after Biden/Harris agrees to pay reparations to Black Americans? And after Biden/Harris pays off student debts? And after Biden/Harris pays for free healthcare for illegal immigrants? And after Biden/Harris pays provides free education for college students?

@Heartlander Harris actually mentioned her plan to return deported illegal aliens...very briefly. That probably flew under the radar for most people.

@4meAndyou Harris's illegal aliens plans are kind of like Joe Biden's consumer protection plan. While giving lip service about protecting average Americans from mean spirited credit card companies, he gives those mean spirited credit card companies sanctuary and protection from consumers in the state of Delaware where they stuff their pockets, pay the state's bill, and help make the Bidens multi-millionaires.

While Harris gives lip service to deporting aliens, she helps give them sanctuary in the state of California where their presence gives California a disproportionate number of House seats and electoral college votes.

With all hooting and tooting Biden and Harris do about how they would have been better leaders to bring us through the cover-19 crisis, they never seem to say exactly what they would have done different. The only solid facts are that Biden was against shutting down travel from China.

Most what Biden & Harris have to offer seems to be hot air.

To understand why the US experiences greater numbers of COVI-19 infections than other countries a good place to start is accepting that we are probably the most mobile and free society on earth. It's the same reason why AIDS hit the US so hard. Practically everyone over the age of 18 has their own automobile, we travel from town to town, commute great distances to and from work, we breathe on one another constantly.

@Heartlander I personally think containment should've/could've be done better, and not necessarily in the form of a lockdown (which for us in Italy was necessary because by the time we realized we were being hit, it was too late for anything else). The U.S. had a several weeks margin for setting up proper testing and instructing the general population, without making the question a matter of political debate.

In regards to flight bans, we had them implemented over here since late Jan (I think we were the only in Europe, paradoxically), but we all know how it ended. Pathogens don't stop at borders, there are multiple entry routes, like travelers from other countries with less strict policies, customs' officers themselves getting sick from the people they reject, airlines personnel, etc.

@Ravens80 :) It's leftists' right to force taxpayers to pay their student debt, their right to burn down our cities when they get phissed off and demand someone else pay to fix the mess they made; their right to cheap goods from China made by slave labor; their right to a minimum of $18 per hour + time and a half for overtime.

The only rights they insist on everyone else having is the right to shut-up and pay-up :)

Both parties seem to claim their side won the debate.

It happened overnight over here, if I didn't have to work today I would've watched it live. I think I'll stay up on election day though, I'll find some way to sleep at work without raising suspicions 🥴

Well Pence didn't want to say much about Trump not acting soon enough on the coronavirus. 🤐 He rolled his eyes around a few times too. Did you see that fly on his head?!😆 I think they were about even, it was far better than the debate Trump and Biden had. ⭐
