I don’t even know what trans non binary means ??
SW-User
Should I get involved ?@Human1000
Human1000 · M
@SW-User yes, it’s essential.
SW-User
Okay. I will get started..@Human1000
It's too confusing for me to be sure what kind of shit it really is, imo.

We're involved in so many things that are not important
Holdontothefire · 26-30, M
I'm confused. Who decides whether someone's expression of who they are is acceptable? That's like saying 'what percentage of this clothing and umbrella stuff is horse shit?'
SW-User
@Holdontothefire how important is it to express yourself? ._.
And what's the message people are even expressing? How important is the message? .-.

These are genuine questions tbh. I've never understood why people say this
Holdontothefire · 26-30, M
@SW-User I mean go read a few dystopian novels about societies that remove self-expression and think about it a while. Humans are either unstable or incomplete without expression. We might as well not even have language at that point. Well, we wouldn't; especially nothing colloquial. Culture is expression.

The message each person expresses is personal. It's based on how they feel and how they've been affected by what they've been through, just like everyone else; just like every other form of expression. I personally choose not to be very expressive in my appearance, but I'm not about to question others' decisions to do it (as an example).

The importance of the message varies based on the person. My profile here says I'm pansexual but I honestly couldn't care less what people think my orientation is in person. To other people - people who feel under-represented or suppressed - it might be more important to them to represent themselves in the public eye.

In the long run, categorizations of gender are kind of irrelevant. Unless you're seriously worried about what someone has in their pants (which is creepy as hell if you aren't already romantically interested in them), why does it matter?

@Holdontothefire I only read textbooks (I know, weird af) so novels are the dominion where you're king and can teach me

I am talking about how people express themselves because nobody is saying we cannot express ourselves but rather people are saying that the way someone channels their expression should be acceptable 🤔
I rather sincerely believe the opposite such that we must control both what we express and how. It's part of responsibility and having good character

Besides that, the expression I'm particularly addressing is clothing ._.
I never in my life understood how when people dress bizarrely or wear flamboyantly gay attire or just wear nothing at all they call that expression .-.

I don't expect you to be able to explain what's in people's heads but that's the greatest mystery for me, buddy XD
Just understanding what the message is is all I want. I can get words written on clothing but when someone puts on mismatching clothing and says "I'm expressing myself," I stand there so puzzled

I guess you got a point, too with the last paragraph :v
I am sorry if I look ridiculous for not understanding this but this is a people thing and I don't really pay attention to most social movements 😅
And I think it's very important to know what's in someone's pants BEFORE you get romantically interested in them >_>
Otherwise, that leads to heartbreak, especially if someone is deceiving someone else

What is trans non binary?
Human1000 · M
I’m not young enough to explain..@smileylovesgaming

I find it interesting when people start talking about trans non-binary and gender issues, science goes right out the door unlike when other issues are brought into the discussion. Biology is a science if I remember my high school education correctly.

Seems one has to go pretty into the weeds to rationalize the madness that is non-binary trans grammar destroying political correctness.
MethDozer · M
Recreational outrage.
notice how this pronoun horseshit didn't become an issue until the social media told people they should be mad about it.

It's recreational outrage to keep the public arguing over the trivial and insignificant instead of real issues that take lives.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
I call it manufactured outrage.@MethDozer
MethDozer · M
@AthrillatheHunt Same thing. It takes a group of people who find outrage and protesting fun though. Which a sickness in itself.
