What does it mean that Baby-trump would rather not run in the California Primary than release his taxes?

Objectively speaking...If I were advising him or running his campaign, I’d seriously consider completely pulling the plug on any operations in California. He doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of winning the electoral votes, and running in the California primary would be pointless. I’d use those resources anywhere else but California and just cede the state in 2020. Plus, I think his base would love the gesture of him turning his back on California, which might help him elsewhere.

I thought I heard a judge struck down that state law.

Actually, I do believe such a law is unconstitutional.

@beckyromero In the hearing before the judge's ruling, Baby-trump's attorney said if he was required to release his taxes he probably would not run there. The state has not declared whether they will appeal the ruling.

Congress gaining access to them for oversight is one thing, but having them released to the media and general public is something else entirely. @beckyromero

I agree with that.

However, once they are obtained for oversight and Congress finds something in there which could lead to impeachment, that would require their disclosure to the public as part of such proceedings.

Trump's tax returns are bait for the democrats. He's holding it over them like steak to starving lions when there's nothing really interesting about them. I mean what will they really tell us? He's really fucking rich? Well yeahh. No shit. Trump really is a genius trolling the system and I love it.
Hilarious is a bunch of people sucking off handouts demanding to see anyone’s tax returns.

Also California is the state equivalent of the short bus.

That he has something to hide about his taxes. Since he gladly stated in 2016 that he would absolutely release his taxes then he should rather than play victim.

FFS - Why should he release his tax information - it is private and confidential
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@nedkelly Because there is the smell and suspicion of corruption. And, that's not private and should not be confidential. It should be revealed and prosecuted.
