I don't know but I hope the "squad" keeps it up, as long as the far left rhetoric remains at a level like it is now, Trump is a cinch in 2020.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Roadsterrider Depends on how many racist Americans there are who will continue to support Trump despite his incompetency and ineptness.
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
His incompetency has resulted in peace talk in Korea, job growth that has exceeded expectations, a lower unemployment rate-especially for minorities. I think the liberals and their socialist platform is the wrong direction. I have been in socialist countries, it isn't my cup of tea. You can call everyone who doesn't agree with you a racist, but that doesn't make it so.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Roadsterrider And making racist statements along with racist actions makes you a racist. You just can't explain your way out of it by saying the economy is going well, so you aren't a racist. That makes no sense at all.
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
@windinhishair If you can't discuss an issue, the only recourse is name calling and to defame, there isn't a reason to discuss anything. I understand you don't like the guy but being conservative doesn't kame him a racist. What racist act has he committed? You mentioned incompetence and racism in your response, if he was incompetent the economy wouldn't be at levels that his predecessor said were unattainable. Job growth would be down, etc. Just calling him a racist doesn't make it so, convince me, give me a list or incident.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Roadsterrider You really need a list of the racist things he's done? You can't see them with your own eyes? Start with his racist announcement of his candidacy where he called Mexicans rapists and criminals. His attacks on Judge Curiel who was born in the US, who according to Trump was unable to be a fair judge solely because his parents were Mexican. His support of white supremacists at Charlottesville. His ban on Muslims entering the country (overturned in the courts), because they were Muslim. His comments this weekend attacking duly elected congresswomen, because they are women of color. His separation of children from their parents to punish asylum seekers who are Hispanic. He's not separating children coming from Norway. His characterization of African nations as shithole countries. Those are just the ones that come to mind immediately. His white supremacist friends know Trump is a fellow racist, and they support his words and actions wholeheartedly. Just read the Daily Stormer to see what these people say about him.

Trump has a history of racism going back to his refusal to rent apartments to black tenants in the 1970s, continuing through the 1980s when he supported the death penalty for the Central Park Five, and continued to do so even after they were exonerated by DNA evidence.

I dislike Trump for, among other things, being a racist. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that he is, based on his words, his actions, his life.

I don't know what the economy has to do with his racism. They two are unrelated. You might support him because you like his handling of the economy, but you also accept his blatant racism when you do. It isn't a cafeteria plan where you can choose the things you like, and pretend the other things aren't part of the equation.

As an aside, Obama didn't say that the economic situation was unobtainable. In fact, if you look at the economic data on job growth and unemployment, it is clear that Trump is continuing the economic gains that Obama started. That's a good thing, but it isn't due solely to Trump, because it was already happening.

The case of discrimination was settled in 1975 with no findings of wrongdoings by Trump.

As far as Hispanics and criminals, how much dope and MS-13 dealers comes across our border. Why are there graffiti by the Hispanic gangs on every train car and every bridge in the country? We need to get tough on the border, some people want to work, some are criminals. It was a crude way to put it but it is a problem we as a nation need to fix.

In his tweet, he didn't say anything about going back to a country of origin that I could find. He said they should go back where they came from.

The numbers I can find on jobs and the economy say that it is much better now than it was a few years ago, Obama came in on the tail end of the Wallstreet fiasco, his first term was still losing jobs. It stabilized in his second term. Trumps record on jobs and growth has been much better though. Obama did say that high rates of growth was unattainable, in the past. He also said the manufacturing jobs were gone and that they weren't coming back. Both of these things have been proven wrong to a degree, the economy is good and more manufacturing jobs are being created.

On the judge, Judge Curiel had a reputation as an activist, using his position on the bench to help immigrant causes, as he is a first generation American, I would wonder if he would side in line with the constitution or his roots.

I won't change your mind on Trump, that's okay. My main reason for supporting him is because the RNC and the DNC both hate him, if you can get under the skin of both sides of the political establishment, you are doing something right.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Roadsterrider You keep coming back to the economy. Economic numbers do not allow you to be racist. Period. And you've given excuses for Trump's racism in your response, without countering his racist statements and actions. I can only conclude that you know he is racist, and will take racist actions against American citizens, but you don't care. As long as he gets under the skin of the RNC and DNC and the short-term economy is good, you give him a free pass for racism. You're not alone--many Trumpers do just that, to the long-term detriment of the nation and our values.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@windinhishair Yeah, we need more of these in our country, just kids out having fun. Nothing to see here, move along.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@sunsporter1649 Those aren't the people requesting asylum. Nice try, but blatant lie.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@windinhishair You mean he is not requesting to stay in the United States, and is here illegally! Why, deport the clown, he is not wanted here
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@sunsporter1649 Criminals who are here illegally should be deported. That has been policy for a long time. Do try to keep up.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@windinhishair Policy attacked by the goddamndemocrats as racist ever since President Trump was elected by the American citizens
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@sunsporter1649 Wrong again. Didn't you listen to Trump's latest racist comments? You get rid of people because of the color of their skin.

And the Electoral College elected Trump, not the American people. He has never spent a day in office with the support of even 50% of Americans.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@windinhishair Windy - I think you are a racist.
Therefore - you are a racist.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@windinhishair You are an economy denier and a racist!
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Budwick Typical Trump logic. As they say in Texas, all hat and no cattle.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@windinhishair Deny, deny deny - racist.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Budwick Economy denier? I think the economy is doing pretty well in the short-term, continuing on the start provided by Obama and the Democrats. Hopefully we get a Democrat in the presidency to keep the economy doing well, instead of cleaning up Republican messes after Reagan, Bush 41, and Bush 43.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@windinhishair Yeah we should call it the Obamany - am I right, you racist?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Budwick You're not even making sense. Your hatred and rage has replaced reason. Time for a chill pill.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@windinhishair Run, racist, run!
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Budwick Nothing to run from. Your fear, hatred, and racism will take yourself down. Its already got you triggered.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@windinhishair That's a freebie since you likely haven't read my other response.

@AMERICA1ST I think the population is made up of 10% extreme left wingers and 10% extreme right wingers and the other 80% are stuck in the middle. The lefties are going to vote for the democratic candidate and the right wingers are going to vote for Trump again, the split of the 80% and a few million illegals is going to decide it. The Squad, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Beto, all the democrat candidates so far are closer to the extreme leftists. That means they are the opposite of the majority of voters. Partial birth abortions, attacking the 2nd amendment, wanting higher taxes, free everything, it is driving the remaining 90% of voters towards a conservative. I drive into a different state somewhere between Michigan and South Carolina every week. I have yet to see a Bernie sign or bumper sticker. There are no democrat yard signs, and I am talking about states like WV, WV was a democrat stronghold, but there are Trump signs and stickers everywhere. I talk to people who have been lifelong dems, they are supporting Trump, they will vote for Trump. How is he messing up with the storm? Using an older map before they had a good idea where the storm was going to go? He is doing so much better than his predecessor. I think he will win handily in 2020, this is especially true if the dems keep trying to out-liberal each other. I look at them trying to justify instate tuitions for illegals but not cutting cost for citizens. I look at them trying to raise cain about "children" coming across the border but can't seem to think of anything to help "children" in Missippi or Appalachia. They want to buy votes with "free stuff" and it is way too obvious. And because the money that the government gives away comes from taxpayers, it is obvious that the working citizen will shoulder the burden of that free stuff. The taxpayers are waking up.
