I hope you caught Bernie Sanders today on absolving student debt, bashing his own party for bailing out Wall Street, and citing the GI bill. Oh, wait...that was for those who'd served in WW2, not for students who amassed a massive debt via student loans and are struggling to pay it back. Mike Huckabee definitely laid into Sanders' comment big time. It was on Fox news. My questions: If Sanders were to get his way, how about those who DID pay back their debt? Would they then be compensated? Something the Republicans might consider again, if Sanders idea came to be.
