So I read what this is about and it's about lowering the age of consent to 14 between same age teens, not advocating for pedophilia, the idea being that if two teens have consensual sex they should not go to jail for it.
Do I agree? Eh, I don't have a take on this. But it's NOT pro-pedophilia.

My dad's friend Dave Pearson is always posting this shit on social media. Recently he made an anti-climate science post that said "Scientist Paul Ehrlich made the claim that within ten years, global warming would kill 100,000 people per year. He said that in the 1970's."
My dad related this to me and told me how ridiculous it sounded. What's even better is, even he didn't realize just how stupid of a post that was. Paul Ehrlich was not a climate researcher, he was a hemotologist. Dude was a Jewish blood scientist from Imperial Germany. And he made no claims about global warming in the 1970's; in fact, he made no claims at all in the 70's because he died during World War One.

@Cierzo The age of consent for other teenagers. This means it is still illegal for an adult to have sex with a 14 year old, but it is not illegal for, say, a 16 year old and a 14 year old to have sex.
Perfect example, when my sister was 17 she had a 15 year old boyfriend. According to the law, they were technically both raping each other every time they had sex.

@BlueMetalChick Paul R. Ehrlich has made some really unsupportable, outrageous claims. In the 1970's he was saying 25% of the Earth's population was going to starve by 1990 and that another Ice Age was imminent because of global cooling
