Should we pass a law to codify the President being above the law?

Or, would it not apply.
Reminds me of the Nixon frost interviews

Nixon replied: "Well, when the president does it, that means that it is not illegal."[24]

@approachingmyexpirationdate It was shocking then, but now most Republicans believe it (but only if a Republican is President). It's called "heads I win tails you lose."

Wouldn't it just be easier to dispose of the gluttonous, gutless, failing, anti-American Baby-trump?
SW-User
@MarkPaul Well, if he loses it's rigged.

@SW-User That is a dilemma. What would a 3rd grader do? 🤔

If he's above the law who gives a shit if that particular law exists or not? Makes law irrelevant.

@kayoshin Good point.

When you get that high up it’s impossible to make the shit stick anyway

@SW-User There was a time in the 70s when that wasn't the case, but since Iran Contra you're right. Although Clinton got disbarred.

😂 It wouldn't apply

One thing that has been repeatedly proven and demonstrated to me in 39 years is this.

Politicians are generally above the law.

@MethDozer Many get time for corruption, but yes, your point is well taken.

@SW-User When they cross the wrong party official or need to be taken out yes. But that's about it. As long as they are useful, above the law
