The sharp rise comes in part from families with children from central American countries who have no papers, and policy experts blame Trump himself for cutting off aid to the countries from which the immigrants are coming and creating such havoc and fear that there's an influx now because people fear they won't be able to get in later.

@Dainbramadge I just don't buy it all as complete truth. I'd be insane to do that considering every damn thing that is reported these days is manipulative. Don't bother going on about it to me

Just want to point out that USA Today has not been a credible paper for like 20 years. Also all major news sources are owned by the same 27 people so news is controlled and not objective. I know of false reporting in most major new outlets. Back in the day, like the 1980s or 1990s, some high schools and colleges had "underground" newspapers that gave real news not the watered down stuff the official school newspaper gave. In today's world we have to find those lesser funded, lesser known media outlets to find the truth.

@Dainbramadge Exactly, well kind of, they are told what spin to put on different stories. All I was saying was that major media is not the best source of information anymore. There are a few non bias ones out there but very few. I like discovering underground news sources that actually show both sides, or all sides, honestly and let the viewer/reader make up their own mind about the issue. I am not putting my thoughts in on the actual question you presented, just pointing out how the media is affected in this day and age.
