Is it me or is the media attemtping to use black federal workers as the face of those impacted by the govt shutdown?

I watched something on MSNBC yesterday where they interviewed 3 different black families consecutively and never mentioned that they were only talking to blacks. I look at coverage on other outlets and they ALL have chosen blacks as if this is a black problem. To me, it seems blacks are being used as political pawns in yet another way by the left.
