I haven't really been reading the wall threads on SW. So how do trump supporters characterize this shutdown?

It seems to me that trump wants his wall and even though the democrats are offering a deal with which republicans were previously on board, he's holding his breath until he gets what he wants.
Obviously he's going to say that it's the democrat's fault but i'm curious as to what his supporters think.
After all, trump himself has described a government shutdown as a failing on the president's part.
