I can just see the democrats in charge of ths house

They probably forget to "invite" the president to give the state of the Union

@Mountainlady16 Don't forget to use punctuation. Anyway, I wasn't arguing. But yes, there are serious problems with the statement you made.

"I can just the democrats in charge of ths house"

I'm not going to go into all the details, be aside from misspelling "the" or possibly "this", you also lack a proper verb. "Can" is a modal verb and doesn't act on it's own. It's not a sentence.

You also conjugated "forget" incorrectly, or at the very least forgot to include the modal verb "will" in the second part.

But for real, I usually don't harsh on grammar too much, but you slaughtered it up there, it's terrible. You can see that other posters on this thread didn't understand what you were trying to say.

But don't fear, I'm sure you can find some immigrant you can pay to teach you how to speak English.

@luckranger71 First time I ever saw Mountainlady16 she said women should stay out of politics. I'm still waiting for her to act on it. She was either lying or lacks the conviction to live her beliefs.

@Xuan12 She's the reincarnation of Phyllis Schlafly, obviously.

They'll go back to the country's roots and ask for a hand-written report 😂

@Mountainlady16
During most of the country's first century, the President primarily only submitted a written report to Congress. After 1913, Woodrow Wilson, the 28th U.S. President, began the regular practice of delivering the address to Congress in person as a way to rally support for his agenda.

...

George Washington delivered the first regular annual message before a joint session of Congress on January 8, 1790, in New York City, then the provisional U.S. capital. In 1801, Thomas Jefferson discontinued the practice of delivering the address in person, regarding it as too monarchical (similar to the Speech from the Throne). Instead, the address was written and then sent to Congress to be read by a clerk until 1913 when Woodrow Wilson re-established the practice despite some initial controversy.
