It was quite a witty remark actually, made me chuckle. The treaty needs to be recrafted to include China, but just pulling out, that is ridiculous.

And tough guy and super hawk John Bolton just sat there and took it , and then arranged a nice little summit with that other pawn in the WH as a reward.

He did not make fun of the Eagle but critisiced the agressive U.S. foreign policy disguised as a joke. Of course super hawk John Bolton did not get it.

You better go back and read George Washington's farewell address.

And probably happy to take more credit than he deserves for it, like someone else we know. But America did this to itself.

Putin wasn't making fun of your Eagle; he was stating a fact. Just look at the olive branch the Eagle is holding in one claw and note how the branch is completely devoid of olives. To extend an olive branch in it's customary sense drives right to the contradiction of America's true integrity if an olive branch containing no olives is offered in peace. Very observant of Putin if you ask me!

But the truth is, Putin really is laughing at the USA as a country. He is laughing because American politics keeps proving him right. A famous quote of Putin's while making reference to the USA is, "Democracy is a farce..".

Again, Putin is stating a fact. He was stating that the American brand of Democracy is indeed a farce. It doesn't work. Americans have proven that fact to the world over and over again since the time of Eisenhower. But that's only the American brand of Democracy that we're talking about here; not the 'other' brand of Democracy that works just fine in more civilized Free countries.
