I can't help but think how foolish and paranoid Americans sound when they prattle on about meddling. Here is a hint . Every nation interferes in every other nation's elections. The only relevant question is if said meddling had any significant effect on the election.

@katielass stupid is as stupid does. Stupid Obama worked to elect stupid Justin.

@hippyjoe1955 Congratulations. This may be the dumbest thread on this topic on all of SW.

Hint: the Russians didn't send a few civilians to help canvas door-to-door, their military intelligence conducted a major espionage operation, including outright felonies.

Another hint: most politicians in most developed countries have the common sense and dignity to try to defend their country against malicious foreign espionage.

It is just the US GOP who can't seem to figure that out.

I'm going to point out something that shouldn't have to be pointed out but apparently does for our "friends" on the left.

Anyone, whether they be in the US, Uk, Saud Arabia, or even Russia, can post anything on the internet ( that would be social media). And guess what, it doesn't even have to be true. Is this really your first election?

Every candidate for every elected office as paid for ads, said things about their opponent, that weren't exactly 100% true. That's the game and how it's played. You can't stop candidate A from doing it and you can't stop Russia from doing it.

@jackjjackson unfortunately that these pictures don't convey any facts.

I prefer facts to pictures. Disappointed that some don't belive on facts anyore.

@jackjjackson help me understand what those pictures are saying about the Russian interference in 2016

They appear to be personal and not related to the discussion

You should really read his last tweet, right before the one you quote here:
A BIG discrepancy between President Trump’s statement and DNI Coates’ warning.

It’s imperative we get to the bottom of what is going on so we can be prepared to protect ourselves in advance of the 2018 elections.

My personal view: the Russians are at again.
as well as the tweets directly following. They clearly indicate to me, that the relevant agencies, have activated themselves, to prepare for countermeasures, independently of what the White House.

This is biggly!
@jackjjackson I think he genuinely is trying to serve his country

As has Senator Hatch. @CopperCicada

@jackjjackson I don't think he likes Trump much, because he doesn't think Trump is the best choice. I believe he's genuinely concerned that we may be taken advantage of. Look at what happened today, when Trump answered "No", when asked if Putin is still interfering.

Aunt Hilda had to spin it, by saying that's not what he meant. How many times do they have convene a Situation Room meeting, to explain away that the President mean something else, before the public realizes that there may a leadership problem.

@jackjjackson Seeing as you like pictures so much, go to google images and type in the word "IDIOT".

The results are both informative and entertaining 😂
