Can we please be a little more mindful about hypocrisy?

It never ends. Side A is pissed that Side B let X get stopped for pet issue Y. Side B claims it important strategy despite having been pissed about Side A doing the same thing to X for pet issue Z.

WTF people. Either is valid or it's dirty. It's not ok when you doo it if it isn't okay when they do it. Our if it was okay when you did out, then accept it as being ok now.

And I'm not even talking about the politicians. I'm taking about all the regular folks who cheerlead their team and assault the other as if we were playing some kind of sports match.

Ahhhhhh! Sorry, needed to vent. Other social media has me riled up but I can't vent their without upsetting family. I try very hard to avoid setting up echo chambers, which makes being included in the separate echo chambers of opposing factions very depressing. Seeing people you've admired most of your life repeating idiotic and often false talking points and dancing to political party lines like some kind of trapped puppets hurts. And you can't just tell those people how you see it, cuz they'll just assume you are on the other side. End rant.

When you start out a long paragraph with x b a it's too much like a math class and then going right into English that's why I was thrown out of school in the first place

@MissMollyCharlotte0702 all of a sudden questions about trains getting halfway there and if Johnny had two apples ..visions of nuns chasing me around the school yard with rulers

@ViciDraco let me know when I might actually get through the question

Great rant!!! Do you think it will change anything?
Sadly no, but hopefully he feels better,@Tittieman

@Tittieman maybe piss some people off. If I thought it'd do any more than that I would've put it up on larger social media.
Well, the facts are these:
In 2013, Donald Trump, who is president NOW, said,
“Problems start from the top, and they have to get solved from the top, and the President’s the leader, and he’s got to get everybody in a room, and he’s got to lead. And he doesn’t do that, he doesn’t like doing that, that’s not his strength. And that’s why you have this horrible situation going on in Washington. It’s a very, very bad thing and it’s very embarrassing worldwide.”
and
“Well, very simply, you have to get everybody in a room. You have to be a leader. The president has to lead. He’s got to get [the Speaker of the House] and everybody else in a room, and they have to make a deal. You have to be nice, and be angry, and be wild, and cajole, and do all sorts of things. But you have to get a deal.

Unfortunately, [the president] has never been a dealmaker. That wasn’t his expertise before he went into politics. And it’s obviously not his expertise now. But you have to get the people in the room, and you have to get a deal that’s good for everybody and good for the country.”
So do you think Trump took any personal responsibility as president for the 3 day shutdown ? Based upon his own words, he should have. But instead he's blaming the Democrats. Trump's a hypocrite, and it's not the first time he's proven it. He deserves to be called out.
