I Believe In Justice For All People

It shouldn't be the domain of the rich! Lawyers should be paid a salary by the state for representing and bringing justice for people in all walks of life!

Prosecuting attorneys are paid by the state. Defence lawyers are provided by the state if one can not afford a lawyer. As far as justice there is corruption in state and private business

Many lawyers work on percentage- if you sue someone for big money your lawyer might take the case for 30% of whatever you win. In essence you don't pay.

You want to cover their salaries with tax dollars? Who's going to pay those taxes?

@beHealy Ahh. I know it's the same in China. So in Europe you can't get a lawyer unless you pay upfront?

They have cut the LegalAid budget in most cases so it's difficult and ultra expensive to get representative assistance in court

@beHealy That's pretty sucky. Here the state will provide an attorney for free if you can't afford one. Some of them are pretty good and many are terrible.
