Last night left me thinking of the many paradoxes in life. These things I've heard from people coming out of the depths. I composed a poem with the ones I can relate to as I was blessed to experience them myself in my life's journey. I hope that [b][i]if you read this,[/i][/b] it would inspire you and strengthen more your resolve.
[b]That the way down is the way up Not to forget that to be low is to be high To have nothing is to possess all Because His riches are found in poverty To bear the cross is to wear the crown
Because where there is sorrow there is joy That the broken heart is the healed heart Your contrite spirit is your rejoicing spirit Your repenting soul is the victorious one Always believe that His life is in our death.
This is so like the Sermon on the Mount with the paradoxes. Blessed are the poor in Spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. But even more that our King wore a crown of thorns and was mocked. Not a throne of gold and praised as he should of been as the inheritor of the Universe and Heaven.
