I find it interesting how more than 1000's people in UK have seen the billboard, of East midlands trains, "paying booking fee is bananas! We do not charge a booking fee if you book tickets direct with us..." YET their will ALWAYS be buyers! Booking fees vary between extra £1.50 to £2 that could've been saved.
Reason for buyers, still? well, people in thousands buy tickets daily in the UK collectively. This means there are those people who will buy, realise they could've saved if they had seen the advert before hand. THEN there are those people who KNOW but still pay the extra fees! Is this a "Rip off?" Put it this way... if YOU were running such a Business YOU would want customers! This will mean extra income (so you take £1.50 - £2 per head and rest goes on actual ticket price which the buyer will go and collect/ print out).
A shop in the local town realised there are hundreds of people walking by. So, what do they advertise? "Shop closing down. Everything must go" and prices of clothing ranged from £5 to £15. 4 months later? THE SHOP IS STILL OPEN AND STILL HAS THE ADVERTS! I now know BUT... how many new people will walk by? People from outta town? not local? Local but taking full advantage of prices?
It's all Business! And Business requires you to think deeply, take risks and not be afraid.
