Yes, it must be very difficult to walk on stilts with such an enormous costume. And then bowing and turning so quickly too. It seems humanly impossible, but the result looks very natural.

Where I went they also had actors with firework torches to "keep the birds under control". And those sound effects are so creepy and realistic, and that "trainer" plays his role so well. (I saw a woman do that in a somewhat different style, but she was amazing at it too.) All the details of the entire act are absolutely perfect.

It was indeed incredibly impressive, but also hilarious with how they try to eat anything and anyone in their way. I saw them live in the middle of a city and they tried to steal food from people's plates on a terrace too. xD

That's hilarious that they steal food off plates. What a feast for the eyes this festival is. I think it is wonderful that children are included in the festival. I find the festivals we have here in the U.S. that are child-friendly are most often roll-your-eyes cheesy 🙄 for adults. I wish I could experience this level of artistry with my daughter at a festival. The festivals that do offer this level of artistry often include sexually oriented themes so children are not permitted .

This variety is rare in my country as well. We have lots of festivals, but most of them are only music, only theater, only stilts, etc. This is the only festival I know that's so big and diverse. Maybe that's also why groups from all over the world go there.
