I Have Daddy Issues

I gotta admit I am very desperate for male attention. Doesn't even have to be attractive guys. I just want men to think I am the most beautiful thing they have ever seen. But they can never have me. I have been told this stems from not getting enough attention from my dad while growing up. Is this generally a true thing for women who throw themselves at many men just to get attention? I want to hear other people's thoughts. What are some of the root psychological issues that can cause people to behave this way?
