I Am Practically A Shut-in

[c=#BF0000](Follow me if you want to know what's the context of my life. I'll soon write a post where I'll some quick & basic information about me. I'll do so because I'll likely write posts very frequently here)[/c]

I am practically a shut-in, indeed, if I understand the concept correctly, or if there's a well-defined concept. Throughout this year, I've left my house quite frequently in its beginning and approaching the mid of this year. Around May or so, I stopped going to school for 1 month. The schoolyear goes through January to December in my country. Around the mid of the year, specifically June, I began to stop going outside if it wasn't for school. Sometimes, I went to my therapist, which I stopped doing so in early August. In Aug. 12, I did something at school which made it impossible for me to go to school for around 1 month. In the following days to Aug. 12, I went to the doctor sometimes and underwent through a surgery. After these days, I never left my house again. The sole time I did so was around very early October, when I went to school for the last time. Since then, I haven't gotten out once. I'm writing this post at Nov. 15, 2019.

All these problems are due to a form of OCD I have, which before this event in Aug. 12, made me avoid going to other places to meet friends, study, or any other reason, besides school. Now I don't go to school anymore because this form of OCD got me in trouble there, actually I've been in trouble due to it since the beginning of the year. However, I've finally noticed there's no way for me to continue going there, there's practically no way, more precisely, to win over the problems I have there.

Probably I'll still spend a significant time besides how much I've already spent in my house, until I treat my OCD and I'm finally able to go outside again.

I've written all of this because I noticed how I'm uninformed about my own society in many different ways, and this is in part because of this, among other things that happen in my life.

@Success Agoraphobia. Yeah, I have it, although when I describe this problem I just normally say I have OCD. OCD is the cause, while agoraphobia is what it makes me have. But to me, its cause is so specific that I call it OCD.
