Too bad it won't guide you away from chicago.

What's the other choice? Rockford? I'd stay near Chicago.

@AcidBurn Lol 😂 heyyyy! I live near Chicago I feel only mildly insulted lol
@KaysHealingPath I avoid chicago at all costs. It's such a dirty city. I'll never forget the black smog haze we saw hanging over the city as we got closer the last time we went through the city.

@AcidBurn I’ve never noticed it, not even when returning from vacations in other areas.
@KaysHealingPath I've only seen it a few times, so maybe circumstances have to be just right. Either way, I go through beloit when I go home now.

@AcidBurn Yeah... I used to notice it more over cities. I think the changes we have made over the years have had a positive affect.
Granted... it's pushed industry to other countries or areas where there is no public transportation. So... who knows if it's better or not.

@AcidBurn You’re probably mistaking it for California as Illinois has strict emission standards.

SW-User
@AcidBurn That was a good joke as I’m still cracking up 😂
@SW-User Nope, no mistake on this one.

SW-User
@AcidBurn Listen I know my city has a bad rep, but don’t hate because I’m sure if you lived here then you’d fall in love with it as well.

@AcidBurn I think that @SW-User May be right. I think that moving larger manufacturing industries out of the city has significantly improved our air quality. Obviously it’s not perfect but it is more prevalent in larger cities.
