But I don’t like candy

I definitely have a sweet tooth! It comes mostly from my late grandfather. He always loved Blue Bell ice cream, which is my favorite as well! My grandmother loves sweets as well and makes the best banana pudding! He always loved it when she made it. So my sweet tooth definitely comes from their side of the family. He had diabetes, so he shouldn’t have eaten all the sweets he did, but he always wanted the “sampler platter” for dessert, and I learned that from him too! My dad’s side of the family never was much on sweets though.

Here’s the weird thing though. I don’t care that much for candy. I love pie, cake, ice cream, and other desserts, creamy stuff. But when it comes to candy, especially hard candy like popsicles, chocolate, etc., I couldn’t care less. I want something I can enjoy with a fork or spoon. I get very little from popping an M&M in my mouth. I’d rather have a cobbler. And chocolate is way overrated. It’s not even sweet unless you load it with sugar and milk. Dark chocolate is gross.
