I Don't Have Any Friends

When I was a child I was hated and bullied so badly I dropped out by 13. My home life was awful, my father was a drunk and my mother a workaholic...to avoid his abuse. Both were gone by the time Iw as 14 years old.
At 18 I moved in with someone who said he would be my friend and lover forever. Instead, they abused me, used me and took my youth.
Now as a rapidly aging adult I find myself alone and without a single friend in the world.

It's never too late to find a friend. Even one who loves a snow covered bike.

Bullying was common for me in middle and early high school (at times relaxed and others horrid). My youth was also seized from a bad stepfather and other scenarios. I feel alone based on a disability despite having graduated college. I feel too unique for anyone to understand and wonder if life has meaning at times. I hope to find one who can understand and accept me.
@Mert5356 THIS. Yes. I understand exactly what you mean!!!!

@Mert5356 I wish the same thing. Thank you for your post. A bad family life sucks and parents don't think about the what this does to the child in the future.

I was in a bad marriage and left and raised my son on my own. I complimented my son telling him how smart he is and how he will do great things.

He is in one of the top colleges in the US, studying engineering. He is also in his junior year. It has been a little tough but he is almost done.

I won't tell you the things that I told him that I would do to protect him and shield him for as long as I could.

Parents need to remember kids didn't ask to be born, but when they get here it's you job to protect and love them.

You gotta love you first. That's first and foremost. As for the person you moved in with, move out and try and find your own place. I know how you feel. Somebody I loved did the same thing. I wish you the best of look.
@ChocolateSauce I moved out over ten years ago. I've been alone since...save for the occasional casual thing.

@ClassicCass I get you, I really do. It's hard. I have been alone and living alone for most of my adult life and that's okay.
