For The First Time Ever A Parakeet Tried To Guess What I Was Cooking For Dinner...

I cut up about 3 pounds of fresh tomatoes to make tomato soup. After they cooked for about 20 minutes & were steaming pretty good I hear Boo-Boo ask “Spaghetti?” Glad I have an open kitchen within their view. I really didn’t think parakeets paid that much attention to my cooking.

Parakeets? I raised 2 or 3 for maybe 10 years as a child, they never spoke.

@Lilnonames I don’t know if it was from him watching me or the way it smelled and the fact that it was steaming in the pan. Maybe I need to show the birds what I’m eating after I get it cooked.
