@AbbeyRhode they got into my garage and house about 3 years ago & I stopped feeding the birds outside and haven’t had but one mouse since then. Plus if you attract mice under a feeder with fallen seeds there’s a higher chance of snakes crawling into your yard following the scent trail.

@MrBrownstone Yes I could. I would like to have a pole feeder that I could grease up the pole with WD40 so the squirrels would slide down and not be able to get into the feeder.

@cherokeepatti Orange or lemon peels around the pole will keep them away. Also good for a garden to keep out them and rabbits. They don’t like the smell.
