Black widow spiders...🕷️ They creep me out.

@trackboy I could find at least 10 in about 2 minutes with a flashlight. They LOVE southern areas. I don't often have them crawling on me, but it has happened. Lots of food this year means lots of large spiders.

@UnderLockDown that is a lot of spiders. spiderwebs all over the house ? deep south the land of cotton? singing dixie?? how did you like it when the spiders crawled on you?? 🎃

@trackboy No spiderwebs inside, these are all outside. Spiders crawling on your skin is just creepy feeling.

@trackboy I’ve caught a black widow with my hands before. Mainly because I wanted to make sure that if anyone gets bitten by it that I’m the one. I showed it to everyone else who found it interesting. Didn’t let anyone else touch it though.

@trackboy they found it very interesting. I initially had just picked it up to get it away from people then figured I’d show it to the people in the area then when I saw how interesting they found it I decided to bring it around and show everyone else. They all found it so fascinating. Thus the reason I held onto it for so long before finally putting it down

@trackboy no, picking up dangerous bugs is something I only do when I really need to. It was the first time I had ever picked up a black widow and hopefully the last!
