Why am I so nervous?

My dad adopted a dog that was picked up off of dead dog beach in Puerto Rico. Before he got him the dog had been fostered. My dad says they did a great job. While he had a lifetime of experience with dogs and expected problems there were none. He credits the foster family and said that someone with less experience might give up if the dog had problems. So fostering was important.
It's an awesome responsibility but you will make a huge difference.

Cats are the most low maintenance pet ever. Besides a rock.

You can call a dog yours. You can even call a cat yours, but the cat won't have a clue what you mean. You belong to the cat.

You'll be fine. Food, water, toys, treats, veterinary care and affection when the cat is in the mood
