I accidentally hurt my cat while trying to clip her nails

She wouldn't be still and I ended up clipping more off and she's bleeding now 😢

Do you have cornstarch? Put some On some tissue paper and hold pressure against the nail tip. It can keep bleeding for hours sometimes.

@Chickie They don't like it, but it works. Monitor that claw for infection. They get litter box germs the re and can get a painful infection.

Aww I think we've all done that occasionally. It depends on how much she is bleeding and whether she can walk on it.. .. if its not much blood and she can walk.. AND you keep an eye on it to check it's healing ok.. she should be fine.. if not then it's a trip to the vet.
