Do cats lick their butts to be clean?

I think a better question is do dogs lick you because they love you or because they are trying to get the s**t taste out of their mouth?

The first reason doesn't make a lot of sense (except maybe to a cat). I think the reason may be to avoid complications like blockages, etc.

dogs do it to get the taste of human face out its mouth..
