Oh yes. Especially my big dog. Recently she came to me to let me know it was her dinner time. I said just a minute, then forgot. About 30 minutes later she came in the room again and started barking at me. Clearly she was letting me have it and I know why. I forgot to get her dinner. So, I said ok, I;m coming. She turned to leave the room but then turned back and barked at me a few more times just to be sure I got the message. She sure is bossy.

He’ll sulk if we leave him alone too long. I give him a chewy and wait for him to come cuddle.

Walkies are my boarder collies love in life,by a country mile.Sooo,I put on a jacket...
My old dog will get whiny sometimes and I will just give him some reassuring rubs. The pup? He will bark if he is not getting his way. As soon as he gives up I he gets my attention.
BTW...dogs don't really get mad and/or forgive.

When it rains and we can't go for our walk. All is forgiven by dinner time as she patiently waits to see if she gets scraps.

Nah, she worships me. When I get mad at her though she knows why and stays out of my way flashing me guilty looks.
Probably.

I accidentally stepped on her tail a couple of times when she was underfoot. I always apologized profusely. She’d fuss at me (“you clod !”) but I’d give her a treat and she’d forgive me. 😸
