Try to resist the temptation to feed it. Feeding wild animals only creates a dependency on humans and puts them at risk of getting hit by cars as they venture more boldly into human territory.

[@719466,Originalkingfish] The antlers mean it’s male. He’s just packing on the pounds during the summer.

Stay inside. We have a bunch of them here
[@328405,Mondayschild] Whoa ! Where are you, if I may ask ? Once in a very great while I see deer in the hills where my parents live. And that’s in California.
[@328496,bijouxbroussard] I am in NC and the park service brought Canadian elk here. They won't stay in the park so they are out walking everywhere.
[@328405,Mondayschild] Oh, wow !
Thevy29 · 36-40, M

YoungPoet345 · 22-25, F
Stay away from the elk? 🤷‍♀️ That thing will run at you if you come near it. It happened in Yellowstone. Don’t get too close.
uncalled4 · 51-55, M
Ask him if he has an upset stomach and if he'd like some Elk-aseltzer.
Take pics... but I get a lot of deer through here every day
