So many people saying that Philae was a waste of 2 billion dollars. If you're one of those people, you disgust me. Fine, next time, we'll tie YOU into an immobile position, send you on a 4 billion mile trip that was carefully planned to get you in the vicinity of a 3 mile long comet we previously knew nothing about, and you can descend for 7 hours without being able to move or adjust your position, except oh, you get there to find out that your fingers/hands and feet are broken, so you really have no way to hang on except for the very weak gravity of the comet, and you happen to bounce and land in an area where there's no "food," and let's see how much work YOU can get done in 60 hours! Discover some organic molecules, take extremely high resolution photographs, start find out what the comet is made of chemically on the surface and the interior and more.

Oh, and you should be very cheerful and optimistic the entire way, since that's the canon anthropomorphization of Philae.
